
The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is mandatory (The SIA
recognises two courses, the FAW and the FPOS course) for those
wanting to apply for a license from the Security Industry Authority
(SIA) or anyone who is preparing to become the appointed First Aider
at their place of work. It is not a TRAUMA MEDIC or EMERGENCY REMOTE
MEDIC course, but the essentials required to be a H&SE NSC
First Aider.

Facial Injuries, Head Injuries, Spinal Injuries, Chest Injuries,
Abdominal Injuries, Fractures, Soft Tissue Injuries and Sports
