majority of employers require you to have passed a hostile
environment course.
Who should attend?
- Those with previous
military experience, transitioning into the civilian sector.
- Current serving military or
law enforcement who are deploying to hostile environments in
a close protection role.
- Close Protection staff,
with clients or principles who may deploy to hostile
environments.
This course is widely respected, once
candidates have received their certification may work as a: PSD
Operator, Hostile Environment CP Officer, Convoy Security
Officer, currently enlisted military graduates often take the
skills back to their units and train their own colleagues.
Course Content
Training is
delivered in two parts as follows:

Part 1 -
Role and responsibilities of a Hostile CP Operator.

This includes admission policies and procedures, searching, use of force, offensive
& defensive weapons, how to comply with the law, how to deal with emergencies,
incident handling and report writing.

Part 2 - Communication skills and conflict management

This includes candidates managing conflict by applying a practical approach to risk, the importance of self-awareness, acting proactively, teamwork strategies, methods to resolve conflict and learning from conflict.
